I was dozing on the couch today, and I woke up vividly remembering that I was African American in my dream. Does anyone know what this means?

I've dreamed so many crazy things. I have a sleep problem and it kept me from dreaming for a long time. Now that I have been prescribed this device to help me breathe at night, I have the most vivid, wild dreams. Once I dreamt I was a Russian Princess, accent and all!

I discovered this great dream site that interprets dreams:

African American
To see an African American in your dream, signifies your roots and heritage. You may need to discover the soul within your own self. Additionally, you are ready to be more expressive and creative.

Princess
To dream that you are a princess, indicates that you are recognizing your full potential. You still need to grow more and develop your full character. Alternatively, you may be too demanding and perhaps acting like a spoiled brat.

No, not another ethnicity. If the only thing that changed is skin color (i.e. no other behaviors exhibited by you were different than those you normally do), and this dream occurs one time I would bet 9/10 it is not significant. It's natural.

I have often wondered how different my life would be if I was Greece or Polyesian.
