Wow, that is a very thought provoking question. I have always tried to mind my own business on this issue, I mean using abortion as a method of birth control is immoral of course, but others, well I always felt it should be between the parents and their doctor.
I think what the original poster really meant was that until the "man" could bear children, but of course the idiot who said it could not have had the child on her own, now could she.
To me this is a very touchy subject, and I believe this is first time I have responded directly.
And still, although morally opposed to abortion, I still feel it is between the parents who supplied egg and sperm, their doctor and their maker, because in the end that is who you have to answer to isn't it.
Could be why so many liberal women are wackos, thinking about having to face your maker some day.

He most probably does not live in the good old USA., he must live in one of the Muslim countries where there is no free speech, and does not know what democracy means.
Just a comment on giving birth. My my used to say. That if g-d created women, and men to take turns on having children. If the man were to have the first, and it was the woman's turn to have the second, there would never be a 3rd
By the way. I do not beleive in abortion unless the mothers life is at stake. I have 7 children of my own. All married by now.

No it won't substitute their sexuality. Muslim regulation is the regulation of the land the place you reside, and it applies to all that stay there. even although as a foreigner you will possibly have some risk-free practices from it, Dubai is a particularly comfortable place to be. in case you have been caught having intercourse in a public place to illustrate you will probable be in various hardship, in the back of inner maximum doorways i'm valuable as a foreigner you would be high-quality, yet say the guy replaced right into a community then they does no longer be. That area of the worldwide is centuries in the back of in terms of gay rights/womens rights techniques of residing, and heavily isn't changing every time quickly. although Dubai has have been given to be the main westernised Arab place, and issues are plenty extra clever there than someplace else. somewhat in case you come out between your man or woman human beings, which would be high-quality, yet your 'gayness' because it have been would be no longer be tolerated by skill of locals with a grudge, so be very careful. Its an unlucky subject, yet your probably to be returning interior some years so i might assume to anticipate it. Tc

If a man has no right to speak up about a child that he co-created, and the choice is all the woman's, then it's not logical to EVER make a man pay child support for something he has no say in or choice in..she chose therefore she can live with the consequences.
It's not just about the woman, and this chic needs to know that.

It is simply incomprehensible that in order to take a stand on protection of the innocent, that one must be a certain gender. That is bizarre sexist behavior. Perhaps the person can be confronted with the words of Elizabeth Cody Stanton, who knew that abortion was infanticide, "When we consider that women have been treated as property it is degrading to women that we should treat our children as property to be disposed of as we see fit." Or Mother Teresa, who said, "It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish."

That is ridiculous. Abortion is not a woman's rights issue, it is a morality issue. The act of abortion does not merely affect the woman and the life terminated, it affects the moral fiber of the society where it is practiced.

That is a silly statement.
What about the rights of the father? Why, if he is willing to take care of the child after it is born, isn't the father involved in the "decision" on whether or not to abort the baby?
I would like to know where this question is so I can say the same thing in there please.

Men have a right and responsibility to state their views if they wish. I think abortion is wrong. There. I stated my opinion. I am a man.

If that's the case, then a woman who has never had her wages garnished for the support of a child produced by an unplanned and unwanted pregnancy should also keep her mouth shut.

Obviously, if a woman had an abortion she made the choice to do so.
On edit: If you're looking for a philosophical reason AGAINST abortion, you're meddling in the wrong place. Trust me, you're going to be proven illogical.
But, if you must... the argument comes down to "how one defines life." If you can answer that question then maybe I'll engage you. =)
