The video of it happening was used in the trial to convict and execute Saddam of genocide. I mean, genocide in and of itself is a horrible thing, but the stupidity involved in making the decision to videotape the whole thing should've been enough to convict him by itself.

Actually, the weapons used on the Kurds were made with the help of the Russians, French, and Germans. The USA had nothing to do with those.
