Kenny Chesney-Who You'd be today. My friend was shot and killed 2 years ago at the age of 21. The C.D. came out the day before the one year anniversary of his death. We played this song at a candlelight vigil that we had for him and it had everyone in tears. Everytime I hear that song I look up and just start thinking about Mike and what he would be doing if he were still with us.

The video of Travis Tritt's Tell Me I Was Dreamin' only because its a sad video. Listening to Country music when I go to sleep makes me think and puts me to sleep. I think there is a one country song for every person that would make them cry. I just had a baby girl so the song In My Daughter's Eyes gets to me a little bit.

American Soldier by Toby Keith

It reminds me of my daddy who has already done one tour in Iraq and will do another next august or next January and of my fiance who is in Iraq now fighting for what he believes in.

there is also the song butterfly kisses by Tim Mcgraw My dad and I danced to it on my 16th birthday and I saw him cry for the first time in my life. He left for Iraq the next day

Daddy's little Girl By Frankie J does too because I am my daddy's little girl and that's how I felt when he left

there are many more but those have the most meaning because if you hadn't noticed my daddy is my hero and truly am His little girl

First of all I am sorry to hear that about your mom.

Yes there is a lot of country songs that remind me of my grandpa. He passed away from cancer and two heart attacts. Me and him were soo close (I was his favorit). But the two main songs are called "Im moving on" by Rascal Flatts and "Go rest high on that mountian" by Vince Gill.

Then there is my Aunt that just resently passed away a mounth ago. Her song is "Let herself go" by George Strait.

a lot of country songs bring out emotion in me, but the most recent has been

"tough" by craig morgan...this song describes my grandmother whole heartedly!! She passed from cancer almost 2 years ago and I still cry thinking about it...

"Go rest high on that mountian" by vince gill....this song reminds me of my grandfather...he passed the day before my wedding.....it has been 2yrs, but still gets me!!

There are many more...but those have the most meaning behind them!!

Still Holding Out For You by SheDaisy, such a touching song, reminds me of my ex who died.
And Who You'd Be Today by Kenny Chesney, as well as Angels in Waiting by Tammy Cochran, they both remind me of my little brothers who died in a house fire when we were younger. The video for Who you'd be makes me cry even more since they show a fire on it, my fiance has grown to expect me to cry at his concerts when he sings this song.
