What do you think is the worst way to die ?

I used to think drowning because your lungs explode, but your unconscience by the time that happens anyway. I have to say I will take anything as long as I dont die alone.

When I say alone I mean no friends or family around, not that I want to take somone down with me.

Probably cancer or AIDS. They're both slow and painful. I think drowning or suffocation would be pretty horrendous, but they're both over in a matter of minutes and you're no longer in pain/discomfort. Dying from a terminal illness can linger on for weeks, months, sometimes years. Deep down, you know you're (probably) not going to get well, so not only are you in physical pain, but you're going to spend the rest of your life thinking, "I'm dying. How much longer do I have? What will happen to my kids/family?" etc.

I'd say the worst way to die would be buried alive. This would probably be the scariest way, especially for those claustrophobic people who are afraid of tight spaces. The worst way of being buried alive is if your buried in some type of coffin because then it would be a long drawn out time of fear and loss of oxygen.

I think the worst way to die is dying slowly.. dying while still very much alive... existing but being dead inside-- that kind of dying.
