What newspaper comic strip features a young boy with yellow hair that stands straight on end and a little white dog?? For the life of me I can't remember. I normally read it is the Detroit News or Freepress.

Ok, maybe I am crazy, perhaps the Boy and the dog do not belong to the same comic strip. Either way, what comic strip do they blong to. Oh, I think the boy with yellow hair has on black shorts. And the white dog has pointy ears.
