It is a trinomial because it has 3 terms (x^10, -3x^2, and 2)

Its degree is 10. Degree is the highest exponent of x in the polynomial.

degree = highest power, or 10
and the factors have to be a factor of the last number, (2)
so you have a maximum of 2 factors which rulesd out trinomial,
work from there, it should be pretty easy,
just put in + or - 1&2 into the equation and you'll answer it yourself,

binomial (1,-1)

It is a trinomial (3 parts) because it has three terms (separated by + or -).

It is to the 10th degree, because that is the highest exponent.

So you have a tenth degree trinomial.
