I'd consider that a good start. Yes! This one seems to have some kind of Roman empreror/Dodge City sheriff complex, paired with a grumpy old man bent on embellishing his oil interests and a so-called attorney General who bends to the party line.

It all depends on how someone does it not who will. If the US pulls out of Iraq, a genocide will happen (Vietnam) and the US will look weak for not being able to even take on some terrorists. I dont know if the US's reputation is the most important thing right now...
