While stationed in Germany, I met a guy that was a teen before Hitler, He told me about the wide spread hunger and joblessness and the lack of hope.

In the begining it was great to get back to work, feed and clothe your family and hold your head up. It was hard to believe and accept when he went to war.

The main thing it tought me, many times there are 2 sides of the story and the media only gives you one side
