Thank you for making me laugh! I've now got to go to work to deal with an accountancy programme that has been so called "up dated" and all they seem to have done is to make it more long winded and easier to commit fraud. The thought of going back to the horse and cart and the abacus fills me with delight! Have a good day.

Of course not. The deindustrialization of modern society would have catastrophic effects on everything. Pandemics of everything from AIDS to influenza would run rampant, killing millions if not billions. Wars would break out over limited resources because modern vehicles couldn't provide supplies to those who need it. It would also disrupt the natural balance of the environment, causing potentially cataclysmic changes in the natural sodium balance of the oceans. I guess what I am trying to say is this, going back to horse and cart would not e a smart thing to do.

No, and I'll tell you why. One of the biggest problems is the waste otherwise known as horse ****. In a city like NY you couldn't enough land fills for it. Although you could turn it into fertilizer. But I have one better. There is a company in France who is already producing air powered cars MDI. They take compressed air and run specially designed engines on it. The exhaust is cool air.

Tell you what, how about you try it for a year and get back to us on your opinion of the possible return of the horse and cart?

No. You would not want to clean up after 20 million horses. And they have to be fed. So a lot more land would have to be used to raise oats.

It has been said that if we were still using horses, the streets of London and New York would be buried under 200 ft of horse sh*t.

You go back to horse and cart.
I'll keep driving my sedan.
And until anyone proves otherwise, which they haven't, my doing so is NOT affecting the weather, so leave me the F alone!
