Sometimes your breast get sore before your monthly period.
If you're really worried though you should see a doctor.

If you are in the last 2 weeks of your menstrual cycle, it could be glandular swelling, which happens to many women from the time of ovulation all the way up to the period.
Another possibility -- you could be growing. I remember how mine hurt back then, for weeks at a time.
If your period is late, obviously you should rule out pregnancy. Breast soreness usually does not occur until 8-10 weeks, but can be earlier in some women. Don't bother with a pregnancy test until you are late -- it's too early for it to be accurate.

Hello there..there are three things that can be the cause of it..

1.Your breast are maturing which is normal physiological process;
2.Since you have been sexually active, it may be that you have conceived, and needs to be ruled out by medical tests;
3.There is a medical term for this disorder in young female breasts... Mastalgia and it needs to be investigated by a qualified doctor.It is a term which embraces a wide variety of disorders.
And remember safe sex is the best sex!

It could mean that they are just growing some more. You won't stop growing for a few years yet.

I'm curious how you know you aren't pregnant, because it could very well be that. You definitely need to rule that out by going to your doctor to getting tested, because if you are, the baby is going to need proper care.

Sweetie there is no need to worry to much about it. You too young to get pregnant, your body hasn't matured completely, hormonally. Whenever it gets to the time of the month (periods) your boobs start hurting or before, they tell you when you will be getting it, it's normal luv. If you very worried, go talk to your mom.

Its just hormonal, and quite normal. Try taking the Homeopathic medicine Phytolacca at about 30c, this will quickly relieve tender breasts.

could be several things...pregnancy, if you are getting ready to start your period, growth spurt, also when you ovulate they can get very tender to the touch. another reason could be birth control, are you on the pill? for the few months after you first start on birth control pills sometimes that can cause your breasts to get very tender/swollen/painful. Good luck!

This is what growing up is all about.
No one tells you these things and it leaves you feeling confused.
There is nothing wrong with you this happens just around the time of your period and is perfectly normal.
Welcome to the world of being a woman.
