if you have a rare form of TB, get on a plane to Europe anyway, find out your TB is rare and dangerous, then get back on a plane and sneak across the border to save your own hide? I guess the 100 or so people who you came into contact with, knowingly, are all insignificant to you? What a jerk.

Or....he was scared shittless about having a disease, that hasn't been around in forty years, and didn't give one thought to how contagious and dangerous Tb really is to other people around him... but I think stupid might be a better way of saying that!
