I printed some clip art onto clear ink jet window decals. I want to glue (or bond) the decals onto a wooden corn-set I just made. There is a layer of white paint on the corn- hole set if that makes any difference. I have already tried polyurethane but it does not dry under the decal. Please Help!

Use canned spray adhesive on the decal back and the wood surface. This makes a permanent bond. You can apply Poly over it for longer lasting protection.

Okay, I'm stuck in juvenile-land, sorry... What the heck is a 'corn-hole' set??? This sounds awful!

But presuming (note: not 'assuming') that it is some kind of dowel-stick construction, one solution would be to wrap the plastic around the item as desired, use clear tape to hold it in place, and then use a clear, hard varnish to coat over the whole thing. You may have to use a couple of coats to fully encase the plastic.

Try clear rubber cement to attach the decals and then poly over the top to seal them.

for those unaware the set is a game, similar to a bean bag toss game with a hole in the middle of a board, sometimes in a boxed fabrication, sometimes just a supportive fold out bracing on back.
