Okay..so get this..you might not believe this but it is 100% true. I had a guy friend who had girls constantly after him. For a while, he was dating a lot. I couldn't keep up with the number of girls he was dating...it was like a new one every weekend. Well, he actually did start interviewing them to go out with him!! I couldn't believe it and I told him that too. lol He had a long list of questions to ask them so he could determine if the girl was a suitable partner!
He didn't think to ask for references, but I know that would have been his next step!
I could provide 3 references. My most recent one would be my best reference and I have a few bad ones in there. I guess I wouldn't be the best applicant for a girlfriend.

to get a reference from an ex is not going to be a good reference. If your boss made advances toward you and you sued him and left the company would you use him for reference on your next job interview? An x is an x because things did not work out and it could be the problem of the x. Nice thought but I would rather you took references from my friends and colleagues than an x

"This is just a passing phase, one of my bad days" Would be the sum of my 3prior relationships but you know, I am human and am on a learning path as to what love truly is. Perhaps I have been close and didn't realize, perhaps I have been hurt so bad that I severed the ties of those whom I gave a lot of myself too. Yet in the end, we can only move forward from what we have learned in the past. So it can be a good idea to bounce things off the people who whisper in your ear before....
However ever thing could be a risk in the wrong direction.

What kinda of references are we talking about, sex, truth, etc., depending on what you want I can give you three and one that will tell you I am a better boyfriend than a husband which I know realize is the truth, so if i give you these 3 can we live together???

Naw. I look for three questions and three answers on Y/A. You find out how smart, funny and interesting they are without all those references.
Lets face it, we rarely split up as friends. Old GF are better for blackmail than references. I wouldn't want any of those old nuns from grade school give me a good reference either. "I will pray for you," is all they would say.

i think of his habit is a extensive crimson flag. i'm particular he's in all probability already feeling insecure with the aid of fact of having fired and having to bypass in together with his cousin, yet it is not something that could desire to hold over into his dating (or ability dating) with you. Step exterior the situation and consider it as a pal going for the time of an identical quandary and soliciting on your opinion. What suggestion could you supply? i in my opinion think of you're able to desire to placed an end to it now. you're actually not in love with the guy, and he's have been given some weird and wonderful subject concerns...basically flow on.

I could provide you with a few.... I think the responses would be favorable. I am on good terms with most of my ex's.
May be we should start treating relationships more like job interviews....
