yes. It's a really nice area. Fantastic primary school. Very close to Glasgow (20 mins drive) and at the foot of the Campsie hills. It's a great place to live....but house prices have taken a huge jump in recent years. Add to your question if you want any more info.
Very safe too. There are the usual neds that hang about on a Friday night but they don't cause any trouble.

Think some people are getting mixed up with the Milton area in Glasgow which is extremely 'rough' but milton of campsie on the outskirts of Glasgow is a nice area, good schools, usual neds hanging about outside spar on a weekend but no real danger

Its quite a scenic area, very close to the campsie hills. My brother used to live there and so does one of my close friends. Same as everywhere, it has its good and bad but generally its a safe and nice place to stay though as someone has already mentioned, the house prices have rocketed.

Its like anywhere else, it will have trouble like other places, its about 20 miles from Glasgow and is known for its bottled water from Campsie Springs, it is near Kirkintillock, Lennoxtown, if you are moving there and travelling by bus to Glasgow for work it takes around 1 hour by bus but by car it is handy for motorways. Houses are expensive to buy.

Dinna be daft wee man - no matter where you live there will always be neds and lowlife cos the polis urny allowed to hit them over the hied wi their batons. The vast majority of glasgow folk are hardworking decent people - and like all communities across the country wish the government would get a whole lot tougher on the urban terrorism spawned by these numpties.

I lived near there.
It is a country commuter village.
QUIET. Nothing to do so safe that it is boring.
i'm not sure if there are any shops.
