Even if you consider what we did as an "invasion", there is really no way to consider it an "occupation".
In my opinion, the worst blunder was when President Truman recalled McArthur: we could have stopped the Commies for good over there and not be facing all these problems now. Or perhaps President FDR's refusal to take Moscow?
