I don't mind talking to people over the phone but I HATE calling people! I feel like I'm intruding their lives or something. I'd much rather people just call me.
Do you prefer calling people or just waiting for them to call you?

i prefer them to call me too! i feel like if i call them the burden of the conversation rests on me, and yes i may be bothering them. i have one friend whos husband and child DEMAND her attention so much that we cannot have literally a 5 minute conversation! They are right there up in her face and i can hear every word and i feel as if im intruding, she says im not but obviously they think i am and i cant talk for all the distraction anyway! And i spend a lot of time on the phone at work so i dont really like to call anyone from home!

A little of both. If I have something to say and need to give a person a message that requires a lot of detail and input from the other person, I call them. And if they need to call me I don't mind being on the receiving end. I don't chit chat for fun on the phone all that much. My friends and I use the computer for casual conversation. Most of us have a web-cam, so it's much better then the phone any way.

Have them call me, but then if we ALL wait for everyone to call, no one would get called, would they? I usually text someone to see if it's a good time to call. That way, you're not intruding as much, and it gives them a chance to "back out" of the phone call if they are truly busy...

I call people, but I always tell them before like the day before or something you know. When you say I'll call you later. Yea that usually works for me, but i don't get many calls though cause I just moved to a new place, and its not my phone so i tell every one not to call me. For know i'm the only one making the calls

There are some people I'd rather just have call me but sometimes it's better for me to call if the timing is more convenient

I don't mind calling people at all. But I like it when they call me as well, so I'm not the one who's doing all the calling.

some people like it when others call them and others not. i personally don't mind to call or have them call me. i say this cause if you are dating someone you would like to call them and talk to them, right? also , there is a situation where you want to know how your friend or someone is doing so you call them or am i wrong. sometimes you are in a bad mood and don't even want to talk so you can go either way.

neither. I work in a call center. When I get home the last thing I want to do is talk on the phone. I prefer e-mail .

If its a boyfriend-girlfriend kinda thing the guy always calls the girl but any other time it dont really matter just call them and they probably wont mind
