All of these teams I listed could hang with,if not beat the Chargers!
They'll get beat again! Tomlinson will act like a loser, like he did last year! Make all the excuses you want for what he pulled last year after they got beat by the Patriots! He acted like a litlle girl!

The Chargers are a team in transition, coming off the worst coaching change in the history of the NFL. First they keep Schottenheimer, then they fire him after all the top replacement candidates are already signed (including both their offense and defensive coordinators), and end up settling for Norv Turner, who has already proven he can't be a head coach in the NFL.
Also, did you see how they fell apart against the Patriots in the playoffs? They gave that game away *3 times* in the fourth quarter. They played immaturely and lost instead of holding together and nailing New England down.
Yes, they have plenty of talent on both sides of the ball, but they don't have a cohesive front office, and don't have the discipline to finish off great teams. Add to that they have a very tough nonconference schedule and an even tougher conference (well, except for Oakland), and San Diego will do exceptionally well to go 9-7 this year.
So, I see at 7 teams stopping the Chargers in the regular season, and in the AFC that means they may not even make the playoffs.

The only TEAM that can stop the Chargers is the Pats (like last season) or the Saints (this is a superbowl pick for next season)
But the PLAYER that can and has stopped the Chargers is Nate Kaeding

THe Chargers are probably the most balanced team in the NFL....THey have all the tools......They kind of stumbled in the playoffs but I think they will be better this season for that experience.........
Any team has the potential to stop any team.....But the biggest threat in the AFC is ....Pats and Colts...Ravens...maybe the broncos but they seem to be on an downward spiral......

THE CHARGERS IS A GREAT TEAM AND WILL WIN THEIR DIVISION THIS YEAR AGAIN. BUT YEAH THEY CAN BE STOPPED.
THE COLTS CAN DO IT JUST B-CUZ THEY CAN PUT UP POINTS WITH THE BEST OF THEM.
THE PATRIOTS LOOK REAL GOOD ON PAPER AND LOOKS LIKE THE TEAM TO BEAT AS LONG AS BRADY DON'T GET INJURED.
BUT IF THEY PASS THE TEAMS IN THE AFC AND MAKE IT TO THE SUPER BOWL THERE ARE A COUPLE OF TEAMS THAT COULD DO IT LIKE...
THE SAINTS THEY HAVE EVERYTHING AND THEY ARE HUNGRY.
THE BEARS ONLY B-CUZ THERE DEFENSE AND SPECIAL TEAMS ARE GOOD FOR AT LEAST 21.
BUT IF THE CHARGERS ELIMINATE THE MISTAKES DURING THE BIG GAMES THEN THEY COULD BEAT ALL THE TEAMS MENTIONED.

They played one of the weakest schedules last year of any AFC team (it included the weakest division in each conference 29-35 NFC West and 30-34 AFC North and 2 third tier opponents) and their record reflected that fact going 14-3. Colts played 5th toughest regular season schedule and went 16-4 including the championship. You tell me which is more impressive...
Oh, and by the way, the Charger defense was only ranked 10th despite their weak schedule...

The Chiefs will beat them in KC. The Chiefs don't lose at Arrowhead in December and it'll be good for the Chargers as well. It'll knock em down a notch, keep em down to earth so they can have their heads together for a Super Bowl run.

They got THE BEST DEFENSE there is, no question about it. They also have the one of THE TOP offenses. Nothing can stop LT and nothing will. I think we'll see Gates a bit more than last season. It's going to be funny when people post on here, most of them will be people who have only liked the Chargers for a year or two - in short, ever since they started winning.
