Ive been there I know how you feel I had to end up being induced. If you water breaks go to the hospital ASAP If the pain gets worse or the contractions get closer together like 2 mins apart go to the hospital. But if you are concerned about anything the best person to ask is your OBGYN. Good luck and congrats

Did they place you on monitors at the doctors to verify you were having contractions? or Braxton Hicks? Ligament pain?Mucus plug coming out doesnt mean labor to follow immediately. You need to relax, first pregnancy has a tendency to get you worked up. Did you take your sleeping pill? I hope you did, if in fact you are in labor you will need to be well rested. For most women contractions involve some back pain as well. Breathe Honey, the little one will be here soon enough.

If you just lost some of your mucus plug, I would head to the hospital just to be on the safe side. I had the same thing happen to me and when they gave me a sleeping pill and sent me home.. I was right back at the hospital 15 mins after getting home because the sleeping pill instead of putting me to sleep...put me into labor. Better safe than sorry. Even if it's not "time", it's best to get checked just in case. Congrats on your 1st baby on the way!

You can lose the mucus plug very early during the labor process so calm down and take a deep breath. Also, labor is initiated by hormones the infant releases, so if you are not calm you can upset your child and prolong the labor process. Just calm down, relax, get a stop watch and monitor the time between your contractions. Once they are two minutes apart it's time to head to the hospital. Also, eating during prelabor can prolong the process. Water and ice chips will keep you hydrated and help with hunger until the baby makes his/her debut.

your mucus plug has came Way as your dilating and if your having contraction it looks like things are getting ready don't worry try and sleep as you have a lot of hard work a head of you .the contractions Will get more intense and will wake you if you are a sleep.labor can last for hours be patient baby will come soon.if you go to hospital to soon you will be stuck on a monitor and that will just slow things down .have something to eat as that helps labor a warm bath ,best of luck

i went to the hospital at least three times in the same day my daughter was born and they sent me back home each time because they said I wasn't dilating fast enough , but in your situation i sugguest you walk on a treadmile for about and hour or half or do some birthing excersices on on birthing ball or take a warm bath light some candles and try to relax. the worst thing you can do when your having a contraction is to knee in holding your stomach next time you have a contraction try squatting it helps the baby move downward and helps you dialate.

Get to the hospital and tell em you are concerned, and maybe even that you are cramping. They can help put you in labor if they think you are in danger. Get to a Dr. or hospital soon!
