My friend, I can all day admit Bush does things right. I am not the most liberal of liberals, but I will admit that Bush, as every other recent president, is doing his part (or more) in Africa.
Other things Bush did right:
1) Immediate response to 9/11, not anything very different from what I would expect from any other president, but it was good
2) Homeland Security, not really very effective, but needed to be in place
3) Views on abortion, I am on the fence on this topic, Bush sticks to his guns here which I can respect the morality present
4) Gun control, not much legislation change here, but I respect that the Constitution states the right, although I don't think they foresaw a kid killing 35 people in a matter of minutes
5) Tax breaks, I enjoyed mine, and from the Republican perspective, I can see why they like this, of course the many minorities that don't go to college from cut funding will suffer, but small price to pay for $200 in my pocket.
Ok, I kinda got off task here. I understand why someone would vote Republican, on some things they have it right from at least one perspective. But you are asking us to say Bush did something right, I have never on this site, other than the Iraq War, read a Republican say anything negative about Bush #2. And I have never heard them say I hate Hillary, but this plan could really benefit the country.
I guess I am one of the few people that don't denounce both that believe there are many right answers to the country's problems, some the Dems have right, some the Reps have right.

Three cheers on the question. This is the first time I have seen one like this. Is it an attempt to get some people who do not know that the whole country has been swindled to wake up and realize that we have been swindled? Three cheers for that. I just wrote a question about Nancy Pelosi and some of the intelligent people around here called her a socialist and compared her to nikita kruschev... I only mention this by way of pointing out that sometimes the American people are so stupid they absolutely deserve what they get. Is Bush getting rich off of oil revenues -- hard to trace at the present moment but will he get payback in the BILLIONS for this scam he has pulled off in Iraq? Oh you can count on it. What's amazing is that some people in America will vote for his republican successor. What's more Amazing is that the people who vote for the Democrat will believe that they are voting for a change that might mean more justice for the average person. I admire your question and implore you to keep trying to awaken the imbeciles, but I am broken now. I fear they are far too stupid to be reached by any means necessary. They have all become sheep. A president can lie to get them into a war that will cost American lives and then these same people will support the president when there is a doubling in the price of gas and he will profit from this directly. I'm riding my bike and keeping my head down. This can't go on forever.

I'm with you. Bush is doing a very good thing for AIDS in Africa. That's not to say he couldn't do more, or do it differently. I've never agreed with the "abstinence only" approach.
Tell me where was the Republican support when Bill Clinton wanted the same aid for Africa?
You see how even when Bush does something good, it's still shady. The Republicans only agreed when it would look good for them.

They will not once admit that he is doing something right, it would make their heads explode, and that is the result of being brainwashed.
These people are seriously sick, I mean really mentally whacko. I could point out a few names and ask you to check their Q&A or their 360 blogs and show you which ones we have to endure here, how seriously mental they are, but of course if I mention their names they will "report" me, like the emotionally immature little whackos they are.
Bush is a good man. If anything, that is his basic weakness, he is good and he looks for it in others rather than being a realist when confronted with real evil like the socialists in congress.
Have a wonderful evening amigo, and thanks for all of the great questions.

30 Billion is a Great first step.
And he has done other things that help people of less fortunate status. I think he does want to help people but his handlers have other things on their agenda.
Yes this was GOOD thing Bush has done. We need MORE.

So he's stealing $30 Billion from American taxpayers and giving it away to a region of the world notorious for pissing away aid money?
I don't exactly call that a Good Deed(tm).

Thats crap - its not my fault they think have sex with virgins will cure them of the disease. It doesnt take 30 billion dollars, to say "when the eel enters a womans cave - AIDS happens"
Heck if they pay all my expenses and $100 a day,. Ill travel around and tell them myself.

Heck, I probably own a teeny piece of some pharama co that makes AIDS meds - via some mutual fund or other. Who knows what Bush owns - or is even aware he owns - he's rich.

Actually he's been doing a few good deeds but he won't get a pat on the back for it by some. But you know, I don't think he cares if they think he's done good or not cause HE knows he has and thats all that counts. He does know tho that there are those who back him up and I know he apppreciates these people!

Hey Hombre! Good question. I agree that Bush has done a good deed as you say. But, it will be interesting to see what spin can be put on this by others.
