There are two problems with the Big Bang theory.

First, it would require an explosion. But since nothing existed then there is nothing to interact with one another to cause the explosion.

Second, it would not explain the symmetry associated with planets circling around stars, stars co-existing in galaxies, etc.

So either you believe a physical chemical reaction occured for no reason and formed a perfectly symmetric universe OR you believe God did it.

Take your pick.

Nope--there had to be some higher being that put all this together. Think about when a bomb explodes on the earth--there aren't perfectly little shaped round bodies of matter that come from it, and that's about what the Big Bang theory states.

the big bang theory makes a lot of sense, that is why its science. you have to have a beginning logic of the situation to have the end. but i also believe god, my mind is open to both the big bang theory and the Bible but i truly do not know what really happen...no one does.

There is evidence that points to it, such as the expansion of the known universe, but our knowledge is so limited that to cling to this theory would be too short sited.

I'm not for it or against it, I just know of it and understand the concept.

Yes, not to say I don't believe in God. I think the religious part is beyond our understanding.

To be honest I have no opinion one way or the other. What is important is we are in the here and now and how we can live without fear ruling our lives.

I must say I don't feel I have enough knowledge to be the judge of its correctness. Darnit.

I guess I believe in it. I don't really understand it, so I can't be sure. But it sounds good.
