Okay, these last few years I've seen one thing that just pisses me off. I see a Pats Jersey almost every time I go out. A while ago, no one, NO ONE, would be caught dead with a New England Jersey. Also, the Saints Jersey's all of a sudden, Cowboys, Chargers, Bears, and some other jerseys. I KNOW these guys are not even fans of these teams. I am tired of this crap, who else is tired of this, and why is there these band wagoner's? What's wrong with you people!!! I am a Miami fan and I know for sure that I'm no band wagoner, I've been a fan since birth, and my team sucks, but I'm trading them up either. See my point?

I live in Texas, so yea, NO ONE should be wearing the New England Pats. I understand Cowboys, but the Dallas fans are just embarrased of their team when they lose, they win, woo, a jersey, they lose, whoa, no more jersey's.

AGREE, I think this comes from not a fan stand point and more of (for lack of a better term) fashion stand point. I don't think these people could even name 5 players on those teams, they wear it because they think it looks cool.........

It doesn't bother me when people jump on band wagons. People jump on and off all sorts of bandwagons all the time.

If you are a true fan of a team, you could never leave them because they are just a part of you. Why does it matter that other people jump on and off bandwagons of winning teams? If it wasn't for those people buying jerseys and revving up TV ratings, a lot of teams couldn't survive.

In about 2 minutes of conversation or emailing, you can tell whether a person is really a die-hard fan or someone who jumped the wagon during the last championship game.

I often wear one of several shirts I made myself which say "Bay City Blues". No one but the most ardent fan would understand what team I am referring to. That's okay.

Let the bandwagoners jump. They make the world go around. Most people can sense a real fan in 2 minutes.

As much as I hate it too. It is always going to happen. When a team starts winning, in closet fans will come out and people who liked last years winner become fans of this years winner and claim to have been a fan. That pisses me off. I am a cowboys fan since the ugly late 80's and I still remember watching a Houston Oilers and Dallas turkey game and seeing Dallas getting beat and all my uncles were cheering for the Oilers, but when Dallas went to the Super Bowl many years later all of them were big fans. Oh well this will always happen all you can do is be true to your self and your team, and when your team is the champions everyone will know you were there from the beginning.

I see your point. I live in the DC area, and When the Ravens are doing good, all I see are ravens flags on cars, and jerseys everywhere. When they are losing, all of the sudden all the flags and jerseys disappear. Personally, I am a Cowboys fan, and wear my jerseys with pride no matter how bad they do. Some people wear jerseys of their favorite players. I also have a Peyton Manning jersey and a LaDainian Tomlinson jersey in my closet as well. Thinking about getting a Larry Johnson jersey for the upcoming season as well.

For my part, I have two jerseys in my closet: Dan Marino (my favorite ever) and Lorenzo Neal (fellow Fresno State alum).

That said, it's not wrong to respect a team or admire a player.
I have a lot of respect for Tom Brady, someone who worked hard to get where he is, and came through when he had to. I respect the Patriots and Bob Kraft, and how they have built their franchise, handled their players, and WON.

I love watching Reggie Bush. He's the most thrilling RB in the NFL since Barry Sanders retired. He's explosive, exciting, and entertaining. I liked him at USC (except when he shredded my Bulldogs), and I like him in New Orleans.

I'm a Dolphins fan, and I'm disgusted at the personnel moves they've made the past 3 years, capped most recently by the bungling of this year's draft. Jason Taylor is the only one worth cheering for on that team, and watching them lose 10 times a year is boring as hell.

Now, I won't be buying any Brady or Bush merchandise, but if I have an extra $70 of disposable income, it's sure not going for a Dolphins jersey.

I hear you bro! I'm a LONG time Saints fan! Going back to the Bobby Hebert days! I seen alot of ugly seasons, bad picks, bad coaches ( Ditka )!!! For example,a few years back you couldn't even buy a Saints hat or T-shirt in our local store b/c they were so bad 4 so long, who would buy them, so simply the store would not stock Saints product! Then we get Reggie Bush,Drew Brees, and the store starts to stock Saints merchandise, so I'm like hell yeah! I can finally buy some Jerseys, or hats, WRONG!!! B/c of all the band wagon Saints fans, there nothing there again! POSERS! People like that make me sick! And you are right about Cowboy fans! I noticed after the Saints whooped up on them last year 42-17,there were alot more people walking around with Saints jerseys on! Cha-Ching!!!!

I agree completely. I am a die hard Phins fan from Ohio. No band wagon here. My second favorite team is the Browns. No band wagon there either. The wagon jumpers are ridiculous. I work at a place that employs around 600 people. When I started at my job, we had one Patriot fan. Now days there is at least 20. This is a bunch of crap. I just laugh at the new Patriot fans, especially when Miami beats em.

LOL, I know what you mean, I am a diehard chargers fan, and have been one for over 7 years, (half my life!) and now I see all these people who wear the jerseys and say:
"Oh, LT rules..." These people don't know crap about the team. They just go off "star" players of the team. They won't be able to name any of the lesser known people but who are huge contributors in games, like Lorenzo Neal, Shawne Merriman, Igor Olshanksy, Shaun Phillups, etc.

It really bugs the crap out of me...

I also hate how some people don't believe your a Chargers fan...pisses me off....filthy band wagoners..

"On Sept. 9th the Chicago Bears will lose to Almighty San Diego Chargers...count on it."

EDIT:ANOTHER CHARGERS FAN POSTED!!! (CHUCK)
YES!!!!

Congrats, the Dolphins are great, I'm so glad that you have been a fan since birth. You are a true fan . We need someone like you in the White House. Most likely you like the Dolphins because your old man did also. I'm not sure how old you are but I have to wonder if your dad jumped on the band wagon after the '72 season or after Marino started tearing it up in the early 80's. Don't be surprised if you have a little band wagon in you. Go Montana Grizzlies!

I agree. If you're not a fan of the team, you shouldn't wear the jersey. If you are a fan, you should wear the jersey regardless of the team's record. They lose a game, so what? They can make up for it next week.

New Englanders are scattered throughout the country in pretty good numbers. Just watch any Red Sox away game and 1/4 of the stadium cheers for the Sox by transplanted New Englanders. Could also be because of all the colleges located in New England. While attending college they decided to root for Boston.
