I read that this morning. how can people walk out with a very big bath tub and no one seen them taking it. it is funny. I never heard of a bathtub so much money. just to bath in it. I agree with the person above me, they should of had cameras. so many people are living in the street and or poor could of used that money to have a roof over there head instead of a bathtub

I can't believe that a bathtub is so interesting. Why does it matter if it's gold or not? It's just a bathtub. They didn't want to bolt it down to the floor because they don't want to damage the gold, which is not smart one bit. How did he get all of the pipes out and everything else? I never thought that a bathtub will be made out of gold. There is nothing special about it.

Sorry I got stuck in traffic, but I'm here now.. There was a moose on the interstate, he said he was traveling from Canada.. His name was Sebastian, and had a curiously out-turned antler... He said he was proud of his messed up antler, and I thought that was pretty cool, so we started dating... He still hasn't called me yet.. I left him 68 messages, but no reply.. He has a phone, I know that.. When I asked him how, he said the inner workings of the Moose United Society (or MUS, pronounced moose) had mysterious ways.. And that he gets unlimited minutes from AT&T, go figure.. It's been five minutes. He STILL hasn't called. I wonder what our children will look like... (end crazed moose's-girlfriend-psycho-babble) I probably won't win, though.. I'm fairly new... ♥rL

No, I don't find this funny at all. Like many people, I, too have been victimized thieves who steal solid gold bathroom fixtures. Six months ago, my solid gold bathtub was stolen from my apartment, even though the building has a 24-hour doorman. I moved there two years ago after my solid gold toilet and my diamond-encrusted kitchen sink were stolen from my 1-bedroom in the Bronx, and I thought the extra security would help, but apparently not.
I think you should be a little more sensitive to those who have suffered through this.

i think it's funny that if it was that valuable, why wouldn't they have cameras outside the doors (because inside, where people were actually using the tub would be illegal!)? that, and why would people actually want to use a community bathtub? and why even make an expensive bathtub to begin with? they could've used that money for something more constructive and useful. oh, the questions are endless!

I find it incredulous. Why no more security than that on something so valuable? How on earth did someone get something that large and heavy from the 10th floor of a hotel?
I smell insurance fraud.
