LOL

Hey, all of these limousine liberals that went on that trip... how much do you think they added to the carbon foot print with all the private jets they got there in?

I am not a Pelosi fan but what about that statement is so offensive? She goes to Greenland and sees that the Glaciers that have been there for eons are now melting and draws some conclusions.
1. Ice usually melts because it is warmed.
2. Greenland isn't normally warm.
3. Ice is now melting in Greenland therefore it is warmer now in Greenland.
4. If a place that usually has one climate suddenly develops another one then the climate has changed.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist or a climatologist to understand that. Claiming it does is like someone who just had their arm chopped off at the elbow saying "Oh my God I am bleeding" Then some moron tells them they can't make a statement like that unless they have a degree in medicine. At some point common sense is allowed. It's still legal.

The problem with politicians is that they spend so much time pretending to be experts in areas where they can barely understand the scripts written for them, that they begin to believe they are competent to form an opinion when in fact they don't understand the underlying science.

When this global warming nonsense blows up in the Liberals' faces, I am not just going to laugh at their dangerous naivete this time, I'm going to hold their feet to the fire. I will make sure people don't forget they stupidly (whether intentionally or not) pulled this hoax on us.

Want to know the reason for global warming? The modest global warming, most of which actually occurred before 1940, is due to periodic increases in solar radiation. The absolute proof of this is that every planet in our solar system is registering increases in temperature. Mars is experiencing global warming, and it has nothing to do with CO2 in the atmosphere.

The earth's climate is always changing, and there is nothing unusual about present temperatures. About 1000 years ago, Greenland was so warm that crops could be planted, and animals could graze on the grass.

The scientists in the video below will conclusively show you there is no relationship between temperature and the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. There were times in our earth's history when we had 3-10 times as much CO2 as today, without any accompanying rise in temperature.

If you will take the time to watch "The Great Global Warming Swindle", you will libterally want to take Al Gore to the nearest dark alley and beat him bloody with a solar panel.

Yahoo! users, show that you are not all a bunch of lazy Liberals. Watch the full video, and respond. Maybe we should send a copy to Ms. Pelosi.

That's kind-of the point. Climate change has caused so much ice to melt in Greenland, that even a lay person can see that climate change is occurring. Let's clarify something--even scientists who think that Global Warming is caused by something other than humans (sun cycles, etc.) still believe in Global Warming. The only disagreement is on the cause (humans vs. natural). Simple measurements tell us that the average temperature now is higher than it was historically; similarly with other measure of climate activity.

So she isn't allowed to have an opinion based on her own observations and input from scientists, now?

By the way - Noted Climatologist and President of the United States George Bush said the same thing in a 2001 speech at the White House, that there is no denying that it's an issue we all need to address.

The glaciers that covered the US and Europe have been receeding for over 5,000 years. The climate is getting warmer, then it gets cooler. It is a cycle. Scientists know that is happens, they should try to figure out why.

A political climatologist, yes. And like the rest of her ilk, she has latched on to this issue and has taken it to the point of exploitation.
