I don't think Canada wants to join the US. But if any leaders get the urge to open the borders and do this North American union thing, we need to get out in force on the Whitehouse steps. Just like "DinoJesus" said they're a bunch of bigoted freaks that we don't need as fellow countrymen.

LOL, if only the Americans are so lucky !!! Ha Ha Ha !
If I were a Canadian, why would I want to give up a piece of land bigger than the US, with vastly more natural resources in just about all sectors with cleaner energy ( not to mention OIL ) just to get killed traveling the world as muslim targets ???
P.S. And while they might have inherited some French errogance, it's really no match for Sheriff Bush's galactic ego. Just go to Toronto and interview a few AWOL US soldiers and ask what they think.

Im a canadian and I can tell you that i would fight tooth and nail to stop an American occupation of Canada. P.S. Canada currently has a unemployment rate of 6.1% compared to America's 4.6%. If you compare America's population of 300 million to Canada's 33 million, who would be getting the worse deal of people on welfare.

I like Canada. I like Canadienns. I think they are cool people. If they would want to be annexed, become our 51st State, or whatever, I would welcome them (but I still do NOT want any Canadian bacon). The ARE more English than Americans; but their traditions and whatnot are so very close to ours, closer than any other country. They are NOT welfare cases; although, many "Dads" fled to Canada to avoid paying child support (or, in the old days, alimony) and many fled to Canada in the '60's to avoid the draft; many Americans fled to Canada before the Revolution to avoid the Fight for Independence, but I won't hold these things against Canada.

When Canada expressed it's willingness to join; if it has said better grab it. You have many more plus points ,other than 30 million welfare issue

For trade. If we can support a $400 billion dollar war in Iraq than we can support the Canadians. Heck, with those numbers it would seem we could afford to give them each a billion.

um.. why would they. their government is WAY better than ours.... and as per the comment about welfare.... Canadians aren't moochers like that. Puerto Ricans on the other hand... we support THAT country and 43% of them are on welfare!!! That costs us roughly $3billion a year. I can think of plenty of things we could use that money for rather than paying them to sit on their butts.

Where did you hear this? Having lived in Canada for a while I will say this-about 90 percent of Canadians despise Americans and our way of government. There is no way that would EVER happen.
