We do not deny safe haven to terrorists, there are thousand of places terrorist hide and we have created more terrorist in the past few years than were ever there before. As I recall we haven't caught Osama yet have we? Secondly, we are the ones that put Saddam Hussein in power in the first place, he was more amiable to our oil policies, as well as more capitalistic and open to western ideas. Dick Cheney is more of a dictator than Saddam Hussein ever was. So is George Bush.

Donald Rumsfeld Shaking Hands Iraqi President Saddam Hussein special envoy of President Ronald Reagan, in Baghdad on December 20, 1983. Funny how the USA supported Hussein for years selling him arms etc. "Talk about calling the kettle black"

these all sound like nobel goals, but they're also entirely impractical. there are terrorists in every mid east country, half of africa and throughout east asia. there are dictators as well in all those places.putting aside that its not our job/right/obligation to build nations, what are we going to do, take down all the world's govt's and start fresh? brilliant strategy......

I can't stand this.... the IRAQIS need to take control of their own government... we need to get out of there and stop making up excuses to stay! And for all the people saying that is cut and run... no it is not... you KNOW we can not get rid of all of the terrorists... if people want to win so badly we need to teach the Iraqis to get into control of their government (now) and leave.
