Old Boston Braves memorabilia is still fairly easy to come by and there is nothing special about the one you have. Your only looking at about $20 if it is in good condition. I would suggest you keep it as a conversation piece.

Don't sell it on ebay, you'll never get what it's worth because no one trusts that site for authentic memorabillia. Try local card/memorabillia stores. I'd keep it; for conversation as stated above. I never heard of the guy, but a quick search showed this short bio:
White had an outstanding rookie year for St. Louis in 1941, going 17-7 (2.40). In 1942 he became the first pitcher since 1926 to shut out the Yankees in a World Series, winning the pivotal third game. His career was shortened by arm problems and three years of military service.

I'm interested. I'd pay the $20 suggested above. How do you know this is authentic 'game used'?
I took a look at ebay and didn't see anythng there for jerseys of this vintage. I would suggest calling a shop in your area which sells sports memorabilia. Try looking them up under baseball cards in the yellow pages. If a card shop doesn't deal in vintage jerseys, they can probably direct you to someone who does.
good luck.

If this is a real game jersey (not a recent replica), it's probably worth lots (hundreds at least). You might want to get it authenticated by someone like Mears With the right authentication, it will sell well on ebay, otherwise, try to find a good dealer.

it truly is probable a heavily produced collector's merchandise, and not very efficient. yet that pronounced, there is no common marketplace for 1977 George Foster commemorative baseballs. it truly is in contrast to you will possibly desire to purchase them at objective for a sequence fee. in case you desire to sell the ball, take it to 3 activities memorabilia shops and notice what they are going to furnish. the utmost furnish is the fee of the ball. i'm going to flow ou on a limb and say that it is going to be truly worth extra in Cincinnati than everywhere else, so in case you reside there, that's a plus. in case you do no longer desire to sell it, then the greenback fee does not rely. the fee of the ball is comparable to the quantity of exhilaration you earnings from having it sitting on your mantelpiece, or on your storage, or anyplace you save it.
