the first person who answered had some excellent ideas. I just wanted to add you're going to have to stop being anxious and slowdown. This condition takes time to heal. It's not going to happen within a few weeks. You are looking at several months. if you're seeing a orthopedic doctor ask what further methods can be done to help heal your condition. I know you need physical therapy. Ultrasound is going to be critical for breaking up the inflammation. All of this can be done in physical therapy.

I have had plantar fascitis and it is hard to cure. There are many stretching exercises that help.He may need an orthotic insert for his shoes. Also use of a medication such as celebrex will help.Sometimes a cortisone shot in the foot is required, Physical therapy and foot massages help. But the good news is that it sometimes goes away on its own in 2 years time. It is terribly painfull in that ypu feel as if you are walking on glass and you get foot and leg cramps. But when it goes it is a great relief.

Well there are several recomendations.
1-work on calf flexibility and stretch it out
2-roll your foot over a cool can to sooth and stretch the aponeurosis
3-monitor it and don't jump out of bed in the morning without first gently stretching as writen above.
4-if symptoms don't improve you may need to go in a boot.
