I don't really know why she left. But Elizabeth isn't the smartest cookie in the jar.

Elisabeth never forced her views on other people on the view... She simply stated how she felt and left it at that. Rosie couldn't make a comment without bashing elisabeth and making an A s s out of her self.

Rosie left because she wanted more money and they weren't willing to pay it. That is the answer to the question. Not to sit here and talk entertainment news in the political boards, but she also has been rumored to be in talks with a major network about starting another Rosie show like she had previously. She is the one that left, they didn't make her leave.

I'm not convinced Rosie is really that dedicated to her "cause". I think she uses her tirades to get publicity. She left the show on her own. She chose not to renew her contract. Even if that wasn't the case, which of the two was constantly going off at the mouth and not allowing opposing viewpoints? If it had been my show, I'd have booted her a long time ago for being intolerant.

We DO live in a free society. Rosie is gone because the people have spoken: angry viewers called the show and the View responded to save their ratings. Majority rules. Can't imagine anything more free.

Because Rosie had a view on the view and because Elisabeth supports George Bush especially in a time of war.

The thought of having people taking Rosie's comments seriously, makes me worry about our education system. Perhaps we need to focus a lot more on our education.

FYI, she didn't renew her contract, at least that was the official reason.

You are in favor of Rosie? She is verbally abusive and gross! We do live in a free society. We freely chose to get that big mouthed b i t c h off The View. Don't like it? So what!

Because like you, Rose is a blowhard. She has no formal educatation and spouts her opinion like it should count because she is famous. She is blind to any other opinion and never chooses her words to try and have a civil debate on the issues. She attacked Hasselbeck personally, and showed again that she is ego maniacal and classless.

Because Rosie is an ignorant, loud-mouthed, self-defeatured slob.

Oh, and she left the show by her own greed and choice, so our society remains free of her, at least publicly.

Because the men sure didn't tune in to look at Rosie?
