JEALOUSY...... boys talk about other boys, but females are more likely to talk about other females. you have something they don't be it you're cuter, smarter, better shaped; etc. Be who you are and don't change yourself to fit someone else. Let them talk, ignore it. Everyone is flawed in some way, that's the way God made us and some folks like to find things that are what they think are flaws. Do what you do and keep your head up, a smile on your face and remember not to lower yourself to where they are. If you hear someones talking about you, change the subject, shrug your shoulders and say you guess you're soooo popular that the only thing someone has to do is talk about is you.

Everyone talks about others behind their backs no matter what you say. At some point in time, even if you try not to, you have done it I'm sure.

Some people get a kick out of gossip. Some people talk about others because its what everyone else is doing (peer pressure). Others are just plain evil and they like to ruin reputations.

There are leaders and followers. Someone is obviously the ring leader and the weaker more easily influenced girls are following her lead. It is a sign of insecurity for all of them. You can either approach one or all or just move on to a better breed of people who have more class.

Because if they said it to your face they'd have to own up to it. No coward wants to do that. Don't worry about them-as long as the things they say aren't accusations of criminal behavior who cares? Small comments come from small minds. Hold your head up high and when they whisper that you're stuckup say,"No. I'm just better than you. I'm not afraid to be me."

What you need, is a new set of friends. Instead of contemplating the matter, find friends and or associates, that you can trust. Don't waste time on people, who don't respect you. It's really that simple.

i don't why they talk behind YOUR back but girls talk behind each others back all the time it's been going on forever why act like it's something new...get over it...either deal with them or don't it's your choice.

It's human nature for them at your age, unfortunately. It must make them feel better about themselves to make others seem inferior by saying nasty things about them. I was a victim of that, too. I can tell you, though, that it definitely gets better as you get older.
