What exactly are you asking ?. You already have companionship. I assume that you mean sexual companionship. If your friend won`t play ball then I`m afraid it`s Dame wrist and her five little daughters.

Better hope she/he is a good conversationalist! Sex all by itself is going to get a little dull after a couple of years, and I don't care HOW hot he/she is.
