Bush is a coward. He's said over and over, "If you're not behind me, you're not behind the troops". This man has the gall to use these brave soldiers to further his agendas. He isn't fit to shine a soldier's boots. We should collect enough money to pay someone to give Bush a BJ in the Oval office to impeach him but I don't know if we could raise the millions it would take to pay a hooker to do it.

Lets put it this way... when you need new brakes do you throw your car out? While I disagree INCREDIBLY on his stance with the libs... it does not discount all the other things he has done.
On this issue I would say that Bush is being "unAmerican". I look at things on a case by case basis... not just blind hatred towards someone you may disagree with here and there.
I am glad he was the one in office to handle 9/11... Kerry would have been a disaster. And what is wrong with having a leader during wartime that does not buckle to critics that are not privy to the information he has? Have we been attacked since 9/11?
We DO Need to unite and raise our voices to the government and let them know that this is unacceptable...
Finally, remember that it is the Dems that pushed this Bill as well, so they are questioning your patriotism as well... we should work towards removing Kennedy, Pelosi, Kerry.....

first off lets get one thing clear bush is not a republican, the republican party use to stand for less government intrusion in your life, which clearly is not this administrations agenda! he supports the christian right wing nut jobs, no matter what you show them or no matter what Mr. Bush does they will not believe anything he does is wrong, he talks to god! this bill was written by both parties, and look at his supporters on here still say it's a democratic bill, the fanatics that still support him also believe in the magic man in the sky, and still do not want to believe in science! hell some still must think the world is flat, so how do you think you could ever win over this crowd? you can't reason with people that still believe in magic, hell the are the same as the religious factions we are fighting, only they want to shove their christian religion down your throat instead of the Muslim faith, there really is no difference between the two!

This new immigration bill is a sorry attempt by Bush to make peace with the Dem's. I have not heard him question my patriotism for disagreeing with this bill. Giving you the benefit of a doubt and saying that he did then how do I feel? I served in the military, I bled for this country. You cant question my patriotism for this nation. I am a patriot, I am a warrior, I am an American.
Have you served? I think that is were we should measure patriotism. With our service to the nation. What have we done for this nation? I agree with the book and movie Starship Troopers. I do not think people should get the right to vote until they serve in some capacity for the government. Either in the military, city government, police, peace corp, or for another non-profit agency for a period of 2 years.

It actually feels good.
I voted for Bush the first time, but not the second time (primarily over the deficit). I think that anyone, Democrat or Republican, should weigh the issues on their merit and not on who supports it.
When I am in opposition to the party that I tend to identify with, that tells me that I am exercising my rights and thinking freely.
I'll sleep quite well tonight, thank you very much. I'm really not so fragile that I would get worked up if Bush, Clinton, or any politician questioned my patriotism.(Which isn't actually what Bush said, by the way.) I know what I am.

As a fiscal conservative, I long sinced abandoned Bush. His latest diatribe is especially shrill; I haven't heard similar rhetoric since he called American workers "protectionist" for opposing the outsourcing of their own jobs.
I just hope enough sustained opposition in congress can bury this horrible, horrible amnesty bill.
suthrnlyts2004: Heaven forbid this bill gets through congress, would you blame Ted Kennedy when Bush signs it into law?

No he is not a joke. This is the only issue I disagree with him on. Which is funny, since this is the only issues that stinks of democrat agenda. I'm fine with his leadership in all other areas and personally I think he just wants something agreed to and passed, but this bill is no good.
