I second.
Don't blame you for being upset. It's not fair to those who have opinions to be reported for having one. I know where I stand on issues and what I'm not sure about I take care to have an open mind. I'm not going to attack someone for having a different opinion. What sense does that make? Yahoo! Answers isn't about finding everyone who agrees with you. It's about opening your eyes to new ideas from normal, everyday people. If you don't agree with it, well, you don't agree with it. That's what life is all about: hearing and making decisions.

It is ridiculous and too thin skinned when people report you for a statement that you don't agree with, just because your OPINION is different. What's wrong with being opinionated, as long are you aren't rude and calling people names? (Some of the pro-illegals can be nasty when they call everyone a racist or a bigot!)
I have been reported several times, especially in the immigration area because a pro-illegal person didn't like my statement. Sure I'm very opinionated but no rules are broken and I say nothing wrong. I state FACTS and some people don't like it!

Do you really want a reason? Because when we ask a question that makes people think, that causes them to look around and see what is going on, then they have to either choose to act, or choose to do nothing. And when we point out things that others do not agree with, then they want to remove us ( just like some who are trying to remove Elisabeth from The View). Rosie left of her own accord. Elisabeth spoke her mind, made people think, so now she must be quieted. She spoke of political issues, and only some get freedom of speech around here ( I really shouldn't mention WHO feels that way).
So, your questions get removed because some are afraid you will get people to actually thinking, and in ways they don't agree with.
But keep asking. I will, and I know of another that will keep asking as well. You have my "thumbs up" to your question.

you are right... I just had a question removed because someone didn't like the facts... 22 people had already answered... some in favor some not... It only takes one... Should Yahoo leave the politics section alone? Unless it is a direct attack on someone in the form of a question?

If that is the reason that one is reporting, then I agree with you 100 %!
But if you could look at the questions that I have "reported", you will see the ones that I do that to are the ones that use insulting racial remarks, and really have no question. They are only posting the "question" to be a racist pig and get others upset.
They deserve to be reported.

lots of people are trying to censor their opposing views. The yahoo moderators are asleep at the wheel - i don't think they even look at the reported details - they just remove whatever is reported.
