usually like, if i eat a can of tuna in oil, or grilled "fatty" chicken, i already know that during the night, about 4 hours into the n ight when all the stuff gets processed, i will wake up feeling like throwing up. now i already now ahead of time basically just by tasting the food, if its gonna make me throw up later on, its usually "fatty" type of foods, a big mac doesnt cause any problems however, it seems to be "lighter", well anyway, basiaclly like theres fatty tasting type of foods that i KNOW i will wake up at night from it, ahead of time, i didnt always have this, its about 2 years i have had this. i basically pretty much know ahead of time if the food is gonna cause me to throw up AFTER i ate it, and when i do actually "feel like throwing up" its during the night, it isnt right after, its about 4 hours into the night
whats the problem?

Could be your gallbladder...not that you have gallstones. But there's a disease where your gallbladder does NOT empty correctly. Mainly happens with greasy or spicy foods. This can be found out through a Hida-Scan..it's like an MRI where they inject you with a dye & see how long it takes your gallbladder to empty...Go see a gastro doc & tell him your symptoms.

I had this EXACT problem and it took my gastro doctor 5 minutes to know what it was. I had my gallbladder out on March 1st and feel better than I have in YEARS...good luck!

Kinda weird. But I heard, just HEARD, I would not call this a fact, that it could be a gallbladder problem if you throw up after eating fatty foods. Ya might wanna go to a doctor and get that checked out before it gets real bad.

Human digestive systems can't process oils and fats due to the composition of them. So possibly its your system trying to kick it out of itself by any means possible. To help don't drink cold beverages with greasy food something hot will keep the fat and stuff from solidifying in your stomach. Also I'm guessing when you eat fast food you walk around and stuff afterward so that helps the process from making you sick. Also theres bread and other stuff on the sandwich that either soak up the grease or just help it pass through. Drinking hot beverages will also help you lose weight if you want to do that too.

Fried foods collect in your stomach. If the oil they are cooked in is old or rancid, your body senses this and won't let it pass into your intestines anymore. The "poison" is entering your bloodstream and causing a "sick" feeling. Stay away from trans fats and try and eat something healthy like a salad if you do enjoy a high fat/calorie food. Time to listen to what your body is telling you! Good luck, I've been there too.

I´m not a doctor, and I can´t really explain it, but I get the same feeling. When I eat too much fried food, I get sick. I think it has to do with the fact that the food is unhealthy, and the body has a hard time breaking down the fat. You must usually eat pretty healthy, so your body is use to more easy to digest foods... and when the fat intake goes up too much, your body rejects it.

It sounds like your body is trying to tell you not to eat those foods. But if you want a medical explanation call your doctor.

your stomach is unable to properly digest oil and grease (the same way its unable to properly digest corn).when you eat greasy foods the grease clumps together & hardens in your stomach the same way it does in water. when it mixes with your stomach acids the reaction is pain in the stomach. because it wont digest, your body may see it as a threat and work harder to eliminate it, giving you a sick feeling. the harder your body tries to get rid of it, the more your stomach (and even head and muscles) hurts.

It sounds like your body is trying to tell you that what you're eating is toxic and it's trying to purge itself of it.

it was probably something in the food that you ate that was bad. or it could have been your body couldn't handle the food you ate this time around.
