I like gillians island because its funny, happy and cute... Lost is too boring and dull and tooo serious.. and u know they are Never getting off the freaking island!

First of all i know its spelt Gillian's Island.. Does it really matter? its just a question...
Second of all, I dont watch Lost.. How can they continue a series where they get off the island.. whereas a show is called LOST>. perhaps they can get lost in the city.. for all i care!!! I know my tv.. Just dont care for LOST!

The only thing these 2 shows have in common is
an island! Gilligan's Island was panned by critics and
loved by fans. It's still funny! LOST is loved by fans,
and a different genre altogether. Both great entertainment.

I like Gilligan's Island more as a comedy and Lost more as a drama. They both are kind of stupid though, but I liked to watch both of them. At least on Gilligan's Island they have nicer huts and better food and the girls wear nicer clothes.

Oooh that shows how much you know. Lost is way better than Gilligan. And they HAVE gotten off the island. That was revealed in the season finale.

Actually I think the shows are more similar than different. I think both shows take place on the same island but, for copyright reasons, they can't admit it. Both shows have mysteries and wacky people and unanswered questions (i.e. LOST: what is in the hatch?, who are the others? what is up with the Dharma Initiative?, GI: Why couldn't the Professor fix the damned boat?, Why did the Howells and Ginger bring all those clothes on a three hour tour?)

I like Gilligan's island, Lost just seems soooo fake. Gilligan's island could have really happened. Maybe lol!

Gilligans Island was much more my style but then again if I want mystery and suspense I'll read a book I prefer comedy from movies and tv.

actually in lost they do get off the island, b/c they show what happens in the future during a flashback(or flashforward really).
Gilligans island was annoying, b/c every episode was about how gilligan would do something stupid to prevent them from getting off the island.
