Maybe we should have invaded New Orleans and Biloxi so we'd have a reason to rebuild those cities.

How did this become a soap box for bashing Democrats? Biloxi & Mississippi as a whole aren't democratic states but both are in bad shape. Why must this be a question of Democracy? There is more than enough money being spent overseas that could be filtered back home. Regardless of whether or not the state is Democratic or Republican. I'm sure the President is a big enough boy to be able to handle anything which makes him be the "scapegoat." Especially since he's the "decisioner."

I gree with you. He needs to be funding these issue instead of sending money to other Countries. I can't believe how many American have become so self centered. I couldn't imagine if people needed help to just tell them suck it up and move on. These people that are against helping people from New Orleans or Biloxi I wonder if their house burnt down to the ground and had no money what would they do. What goes around comes around. Remember, God see all.

New Orleans is so bogged down by corruption and Democrats who like to take, take, take, but don't have a clue how to give, give, give. The Democrat bureaucracy has bungled so deeply that they don't know how to get out of their own do-do. It is a pathetic reminder of how Democrats do politics. Our federal government has appropriated so much cash for rebuilding, and it is like giving money to a corrupt third-world nation.
