I have a noticeable brown ring around the penis that I am very displeased with. My ex girlfriend thinks it is a scar from circumcision when I was a baby but why is it so obvious. Is she right? I have always been embarresed by it because it is so visable and I dont want girls to freak out or make a joke when they see it. I am white with blond hair and have tried age spot cream to lighten it. Does anybody know exactly what this is caused by and is there any way to make it fade or dissapear?

Kinda looks like a narrow band of skin pigment tone difference around it.

yep, that's the scar from the circumsion. you might want to try some aloe vera jelly and see if that lightens it up.

If you are circumcised, then most likely this is the scar line from that. It is probably dark because you are fair complected or possibly dark due to the method used when they trimmed you up.
You may be able to use a stronger bleaching cream, ask a pharmicist for a bleaching or scar cream. Maybe that will help.
Don't worry about it to much though, most women don't care or may even find it sexy.

Yes, it's almost certainly the circumcision scar. There isn't much you can do about it. Since it is a scar, you could try creams designed to lessen the appearance of scars; though since you've had it for so long, I doubt the creams will do anything significant. Most creams work best on new scars, just before/just after they've fully healed.

Such rings are not unusual. If you google "color penis ring". you'll get several medical sites and a few flaky ones by teenagers. If you watch porno movies, you will occasionally see a ring. Some guys and gals think it's kind of sexy. If it bothers you, see a dermatologist who is familiar with and has the equipment for, the new laser scar removal process. It will hurt, and there are potential problems, but check with the dermatologist. It may not be covered by insurance. Cosmetic, you know.

It most likely is a scar from being circumsized. It's normal, but if it is darker than most, you can always try creams. They make dark spot creams typically used on the face that could help. I wouldn't worry about it though, if it's not broke or leaking, leave it.

the dark ring is your circumcision scar. a clamping device was used on you when you were circ'd. not much you can do about it. you might try some scar cream and see; it might lighten it a little. and it's kinda normal for the skin the wrinkle a bit like you describe. I don't think the lotion is gonna do anything.

She must be an oriental penis-master....It is the scar. Why are you so self-conscious about it....Be proud of your pecker!
You can try steel wool but I wouldn't.
