http://www.doggydomains.com has a package called traffic blazer that helps you optimize your site for search engines and then submit it to the top search engines. I think it's like $15 a year.

It *may* be hard, if someone else already has your company name also! In that case, you'd have to "buy" the right to use the name. And believe it or don't, there really are folks out there to run around buying up the right to use names, just in the hope of turning around and reselling them for a profit, maybe to people just like you.

Nonetheless, if there's no one running around, already using your company's name, then you can (if I understand what you want, correctly) be able to type your company's name in the search bar, by optimizing your website's search order in the various search engines. For example, there are promotion services that will for, say, $85 to $100, give you suggestions on rewriting your website a bit so's *all* the web "crawlers" are more likely to find it. On page 374-375 of the book, Google Hacks, you can find a few suggestions as to making your website more findable by Google. You could also "buy into" Google AdWords so's to make your website available in those AdSense ads you see on lots of web pages. And like that...

Look up "website promotion" on a search bar. Lots of promoters will be willing to take your money for professional services.

I'm unsure exactly what you're asking -- do you already have your domain name registered (yoursite.com)? If not, you can get it at siteservices.us . You can set it up to direct to your current website there.

My next question is "is your domain name already set up with your website to where when you type the domain in the browser it takes you to the website?".

I just need more info to help, because I don't know if you mean, "how do I get my existing website listed in the search engines" or if you are asking "how do I redirect my domain name to my website"...

Submit your site to the major search engines.

Here's a link. Try typing in the search box of a search engine once in a while.
