Not at all-in fact during WW2 applied for a job with the government in C.D. for a job in cryptography (decoding secret foreign messages) and not only was my background put through the wringer but also both my parents were checked out. A Lieutenant came for a personal interview from D. C. and after filling out more forms, was accepted and given a train ticket to Arlington Farms,Va where I would be housed. The end of this story is-my air force bf asked me to marry him so I cancelled the whole D.C. thing. Wonder how different my life would have turned out if I had gone through with the challenging job. Goes to show how one decision can change your whole life.I

I always get a little nervous when I know I'm getting checked out... I know I've never done anything, but what if someone makes a mistake somewhere or something and then it looks like I have some horrible history and I'm in trouble. I always get nervous.
