We see Bush as a bumbling idiot, leading his country into wars they haven't thought through, leading up to disastrous consequences, think someone throwing water on a chip fan fire rather than smothering it with a cloth, making the small fire and inferno.
Whats worse, the support he gets from the Neo Conservative wing and its supporters come across as a legion of blind sheep endlessly following his demands without question.

I'll throw in some international opinion. What makes you think other countries "care" what Americans do. America is not the center of the world - the Australian (the media, friends, and peers) perception of America has nothing to do with whatever President is currently in - it's about how ignorant American citizens (at least the vocal ones) are about the rest of the world.
It seems like it has been said that Americans complain and complain more then the British - then go and watch American Idol or some 'omg i get to actually pick who goes through' show. An Australian TV Show did a documentary in America a few months ago called CNNN - look it up on youTube. Americans were given a map, and could not point out Australia or Britian on the map - the 2 other prime members of the Coalition.
Its not your leaders that set the example on other countries, its how you take advantage of everything you have, and yet still complain about them. It is how everything is a popularity contest, regardless of talent (and not just in TV shows respect). It is how everyone must stop and listen to America, but the average US citizen couldn't name one issue in another country.
Get over George Bush and 'the world' - they don't care - it's the vocal citizens that leave the biggest impression.

Do people look up to us as they used to?
NO. We saved Europe twice from war and tyranny. Now, we're too lazy to save ourselves.
Do they see us as the fair arbitrators that we have always been? NO. Unfortunately the Bush administration went a long way in destroying that and it will take a long time to rebuild. I doubt that will ever happen.
Do they see blood and destruction as our greatest export? NO. You're going a bit over board here, buddy. They probably see Hollywood and Reality Shows as our biggest export. I'd rather be known for the prior.

Well now that we have McCain, Guiliani, Cheney, and George Tenet esposing how great torture is and how well it served the country we got no moral highground when the state department issues its list of human rights abusers.
I think we started looking bad with Iran-Contra.
We export shock and awe not blood and destruction (clearly sarcasm) shock and awe was a truely vile and unnecessary act. We were destroying their tanks at 4 km (what that means is they never saw us or even fired to a significant extent), there was no need to kill som many civilians

May I suggest that depending on others for your personal sense of worth is not a good practice for either an individual nor is it a good diplomatic practice for a Nation. Both individuals and Nations must stand (or fall) on actions that support that Nation's Interests.
Regardless of what any nation may think it is in the USA's interest to be in Iraq. It is in our interest to keep Faith with the Iraqi people and defeat the terrorists who are trying to take over that country. Therefore to put it bluntly; who cares what others may say just wait a week and it will be something different.

I know what they do see but don't appreciate! We give more money out to several nations and they aren't even forced to pay it back! Carter I think forgave a big loan from Mexico and China owes us a bundle. We are there anytime they are being invaded, we export tons from all of them, we buy their oil, we're there in disasters. Maybe we should stop all of it!

They look up to us more.
We have become the example of fair.
They see liberty and prosperity. Just ask them as they cross our borders everyday if they are here for the blood and destruction. You are the only self proclaimed humanist I have know who hates humans.

They hate us more than any other country. They took a vote I believe last month and Bush was voted the most hated leader in the world. When as about it , he just gave that blank chimpy stare like, " I really can't comprehend what you are saying, HUH.
