Your actually find that rabbits are dazed by bright lights like the one of cars driving at night time. They tend to freeze on the spot and by the time they realise the danger its too late.
People that hunt rabbits at night use this technique to shot the rabbit with by shining a light directly at it. Hence why if you live somewhere near where there's country roads that rabbits come out to play on your probably see a lot of dead rabbits!

It will help your eyesight now but there are no guarantees about the future especially when you reach middle age. As several posters already mentioned, there are other factors which will affect your eyesight more than carrot juice ever will. If you develop such diseases as diabetes, there is a chance you eyes will deteriorate even before you are 50 no matter how many gallons of carrot juice you drink every week.Genetics plays an even bigger role. If you like carrot juice, drink it and enjoy the benefits. Just don't expect it to perform miracles.

In actual fact many of those rabbits have OD'd on carrots; some are just sleeping; they have found that sleeping on the side of the road is better than sleeping in the road.
Anyway, don't worry about a few dead rabbits there are more than enough around; they breed like rabbits you see.

Carrots have always had excellent 20/20 eyesight that's why most rabbits eat them - in the hope that it will rub off on them.
The dead ones that you see by the side of the road are meat-eaters.

Rabbits don't eat carrots. They eat whatever plants are growning in the area that they live. This could be grass, leaves, weeds, whatever.
Also, because the rabbit is a simple animal and doesn't understand about cars, roads, etc they may see the car coming, but don't know which way to run.
Not to mention how fast everyone drives these days!

This theory that carrots improve eyesight is a myth. It originates from a rumour spread during World War 2 by the British, to fool the Germans. Check out this link for more details:

I don't quite understand the question.
I didn't even know carrots developed eyes in the first place.
It might be from all these carrots taking all the food from the good little bunnies and then just having celery stalk them.
