Please explain who are the McCann,s everybody is going on about here on Answers

The McCanns are a couple who went to a nice resort with their children, left the children sleeping in the room while they went to dinner, and found that Maddie, their four year old, had been kidnapped while they were out. A lot of arguments have been launched, claiming they were wrong to leave their children and deserved what they got, while the other side says it could happen to anyone, find the child. So far, no word of her, but the reward is quite high and the Pope has met with her parents. I hope she is found, along with every other missing child.

They are are family whose young daughter was taken from their hotel room in Portugal as they had dinner in the hotel restaurant.

couple of selfish **** who saw fit to leave their three small children on their own and then squeeze cash out of the public after one of the kids go missing. they had to leave them you see, they had important grown up things to do like have dinner and fun. that should just about cover it!
