You can also do a search for "MLA Formatting" or something similar. The above link is reliable and has been so for several years. I include it in my syllabus each semester! I think that buying the actual style guide is advisable, but probably only if you will need it every semester, in the future. Or if you like having lots of books.

You can use noodlebib.com for help with the Works Cited page. I like suggesting it to students because it still requires them to find the information and identify it. It then places it in the correct form.

I concur that you should get an MLA style book, especially if you'll be writing many more papers. Also, you should note that noodlebib.com does not provide in-text formatting or formatting help for the actual paper.

mla is a sort of examine paper, i in basic terms wrote my first one some weeks in the past. first, write an exciting certainty approximately your subject remember. it relatively is to initiate your intro paragraph and to connect it with the concentration question 2nd, start up off with a concentration question. ensure its a query with to opposing solutions. ex. could steroids be banned? confident no then, write a thesis assertion(a certainty and an opinion that helps your answer) get a minimum of three information that help your answer(different than the single you in basic terms used for the intro). divide those information into 3 paragraphs. after that, write a acceptance paragraph. rp is once you state the oppositions maximum useful reason and tell how that's undesirable. finally write your end to sum each little thing up notes: get components that helps your opinion. you're able to be able to desire to GET components TO help YOUR answer. have a separate piece of paper mutually with your bibliography all this grew to become into very commonplace, i could have ignored some issues, so ask somebody that is conscious of o.k., like college scholars stable success!

Writing in this format is very complicated, especially when you're dealing with footnotes. Go to your nearest bookstore and buy the MLA manual. You won't regret it.
