My husband and I used to always use condoms until we decided to try and have a baby so just a few weeks ago was the first time I ever had a guy come into me and I've noticied a few times that when we're done the semen will leak out of me. Is there something I'm not doing right? I know that's a stupid question but it just seems like I'll have a hard time getting pregnant if the semen is leaking out. He does come into me really deep but it still leaks out. Does anyone else have problems with that? Is it normal?

Its not a stupid question. Yes some comes out but there is still plenty in there to do the job. Its normal. If you havent gotten pregnant after 6 months of trying then get an ovulation predictor kit and follow the directions that helps too. It tells you when you are ovulating so its easier to get pregnant. They are in the same place as the pregnancy test kits.

It is actually normal. As my three children can attest, you can still get pregnant. After sex, most women will leak semen and their own fluids, some even have to wear pads because it seems like so much and makes them uncomfortable. Many fertility doctors recommend that women who are trying to get pregnant stay laying down and elevate their pelvises after sex. A lot of the semen is extra fluid to wash the urethra and protect the sperm so it doesn't need to and often doesn't enter the uterus. Don't worry about it too much. It is, in fact, normal.

There will always be some semen that leaks out. When we were trying to get pregnant, we would cuddle or read in bed after or just go to sleep. I don't know if it made a difference or not, but it sure is disappointing to stand up and see how much drips out.

Oh yes, this is completely normal! Anytime a guy comes in you, it will eventually come out (normally when you stand up). If you are TTC, lay there for a few minutes with a pillow under you so that it will not leak out. (Heard that will help to get pregnant).

Good luck!!!

Well this may sound silly but look at look whose talking and it gives a good visual display of what really happens. but not all of the sperm will make it some of the seminal fluids will fall out just for gravity sake but try try and try again but getting an ovulation kit will help you predict whens the best time to go for it until you and you husband must wait because it you continuously do it the majority of The sperm will be gone and the stuff shooting out will just be fluid although it look the same its lacking a key component and could take up to 24hrs for him to make more good luck.

It's completely normal. Some always leak out, but out of the millions of sperm, some will make it in. Try propping up your hips after sex for a while, it will help, but some will still leak out, it's inevitable. Good luck ttc!!

This happens every time it is perfectly normal. However, if you are trying to get prego I read that you can prop your butt up so that the semen can not leak out or lay on your side.

its normal, the semens job is to get the sperm where it is suppose to be, when its job is done it comes out. however on the days around your ovulation you should stay laying down for 30 minutes after sex, with your knees up... just to give it a little help. your normal though. baby dust to you!

As a married lady myself, I can tell you this is COMPLETELY normal. It also should have absolutely no effect on you trying to get pregnant. Trust me, enough remains inside of you to make a baby. You aren't doing a thing wrong. Congrats on trying - the trying is the fun part!
