Yes, about 19 years ago. I lived in a strange house and often heard things.
One day I looked into the hallway and saw a male figure: collarless shirt, waistcoat, either "plus fours" or trousers tucked into big boots.
The worst thing was; where the head should have been there was a grey mist/distortion of light. Can't explain it but it was very unpleasant.
Luckily I only saw it the once! Never forgotten it though, can still picture it now after all these years.

They call her Midnight Mary.
That’s not her real name, of course. It’s the name she was given after she was killed, when she started appearing to people on Bordentown Road.
They say that sometimes she floats over Tullytown Lake, seeming to dance on the water. Once, a trucker reported to police that he had picked up a pretty teen-age hitchhiker on Bordentown Road only to see her dissipate into a puddle of water in his cab.
She was wearing a pink dress, the trucker said. In all the sightings, from sources as varied as a woman walking with a stroller to high school students, Midnight Mary is wearing a pink dress.
Legend has it that Mary – some say her real name was Gertrude Spring –was coming home from her high school prom when her boyfriend lost control of their car and crashed into Tullytown Lake. ( Bucks County, PA)
Her body was never found.

Yep, when I was on holiday with my family in Yorkshire about 20 years ago we stayed in this old Shepherds cottage. There was three bedrooms, one for my parents, one for me & my brother and one for my sister. The first night we were there my brother hadn't arrived yet due to work so me and my sister had seperate rooms(She had the single) and the house was awoken in the night by my sisters terrifying screams as she held her bedroom door shut and we didnt sleep again that night.
The following night upon the arrival of my brother, I had the single room and was on edge all night and didn't get to sleep at all as I was sure there was something not right about the room. So the next night, my brother had the single room and me and my sister shared the double but in the middle of the night I was awoken by my sisters terrified screams of "It's there It's there at the foot of the bed" and when I opened my eyes to this day I beleive there was a figure of some etheral otherworldly nature standing at the foot of her bed.

Many people thought they have, but a much MUCH likelier explanation is that they were simply dreaming, or tired, or it was dark and their imagination was working on overdrive, etc. Absolutely no evidence whatsoever exists for these so-called apparitions.

I have indeed, I also am working on a energy source that expels no light so perhaps more evidence can be presented.
Mind you i am not doing this to prove anything to the skeptic mind but only to help aid those of us who are seeking more answers.

I have never seen anything that would be considered paranormal.
I've seen some weird things, but nothing I would ascribe to ghosts, etc.

To me that is telling me that there is a God and the angel grew to become into giving you that message. all of us pass with the aid of confusing cases. God facilitates issues to ensue to us for the extra effective stable. whilst undesirable issues ensue there's a lesson or a message in that difficulty that we could desire to earnings. regularly it relatively is to place all of our believe in God. yes, as have many many others, majority of which wont admit to it for fear of being ridiculed. sadly, sightings will start to escalate, and soon even the most die hard skeptic will admit to it, tho i fear that those people will be driven to extreme measures when that happens, but that is another subject entirely.

You are the reason that superstitions persist. Please abandon your delusional and fantasy-prone path and join the rest of us in this place called "reality". It's not dull at all. There is plenty to wonder about in the natural world without creating an alternative fantasy world.
