That depends on the individual in question. Some people are so greedy X+1 dollars is not enough, assuming x to be in the 7-8 figures.

Enough to buy a house and food, I guess a car, maybe some the clothes needed for your work place and eventually a family. Nothing more.

When I can get the house I want, studio I want, car I want and enough to pay for college for my kids as long as they want to go, pay for their housing, and all the taxes that comes with that. THEN I'll be satisfied that I have enough. Other than that, I'm going to happy even if I have to live under a bridge as long as my gf sticks with me.
