Ok, there are a lot of anti-Bush comments on this board & I think I know why. It may have something to do with the fact that the man is currently the acting commander in chief of the U.S. His policies & decisions effect all of our lives. This warrents a great deal of public opinion.
Bubba Clinton's presidency ended almost seven years ago(1993-2001). This to me is ancient history. I see no relevence in bringing it up. You may as well be referenceing Grover Cleaveland or Kennedy or Carter. It's just not an effective argument. I don't believe there are that many hard core Clinton fans out there who are going to take offense to Clinton bashing. This is NOT an attempt to defend BC. I personally never cared for the man. I wouldn't pizz on him if he was on fire. He's just another worthless career politicion & deserves all the ridicule you Bush lovin' Neo-cons can sling.
Seems to me that many Y!A readers want to defend cool 'ol W, but you seem to be dodging the Q's. Well, are U?

Anyone with blind faith in a politician is a moron. He is human. He does good he does bad!!! He can't be infallible across the board.

Clinton recieved a lot of criticims from Republicans - even an impeachment attempt by a Republican controlled Congress - just as Bush is enduring the same from Democrats, now. The next President is almost certain to be a Democrat, and, I think it likely that she (or he) will face similar harsh partizan crticism, and, at the slightest pretext, calls for impeachment.

There is a new level of partizan hostility for the President that was less pronounced prior to the Clinton administration.

I think it's worth noting.

It is important to study the past presidents so we don't make the same mistakes in the future. I am still interested in what Clinton does because he does alot for PEOPLE. On the other hand, Bush does nothing unless it is for his cronies. He will go down as the worst president in history, as Jimmy Carter said-another one of of my favorites. Clinton and Carter are two of the most intelligent presidents we have had. Bush on the other hand...it is painful just to hear him speak. Did he REALLY go to college?

I agree that the Clinton comeback is over used around here, however in some cases it has some validity because many of the things people on here bash Bush for seem to forget that Clinton did exactly the same thing. So it is used to show the hypocrisy of some of the statements being said.

because they have no argument against the attacks, it's a typical Rovian played tactit...if you obfusicate an issue as oppossed to addressing it, you leave a sense of confusion instead of solidifying fact.

PS, both sides should read Gore's book if you think the current discord is unavoidable, you don't have to agree with his politics but the fact that reason is no longer valued in politics should send warning bells to all sides

They bash either Bill or Bush according to their pesonal political affiliation.

I just cannot understand why a president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense but, a president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy.

Reflecting on and challenging issues are far better than "mudslinging" in any case. Hype and sensationalism feeds the media and excites the senses but does little for the honest examination of critical posits

Old tactic, when you are devoid of anything worthwhile to say, just change the subject.

'Bush lovin neo-cons' are the worst kind of people. They are filled with jingoistic love, of something and someone they can not logically defend.... They are therefore left in this black hole of questioning their own judgment and to disguise that, they revert to a man, Bill, who has no power to change things in America.

Makes you laugh.

It still works to day to bash on Clinton. He has been the only thing Democrats have had since JFK. Carter was a joke. Plus his wife is running for '08. It kills 2 birds with one stone IMO. He's too easy to make fun of. Like the time he said he tried weed, but didn't inhale. Habitual liar who got caught by the GOP.

No Dodging all the Scum in Congress is either Liberal ,or Democrats. Pelosi , Reid, Kennedy , prefer to Legalize
Illegals, instead of providing Funding for our Troops.

For me, it is simple. The only defense I hear from the dems is what a great president BC was.
While I am not in agreement with everything GW says or does......at least he is doing something. Seems to me that BC's biggest daily concern was which interb=n would blow him that day. So until dems stop throwing BC in my face......I will continue to point out the flaws.

I don't think i dodged your question.
