Rest assured it has nothing to do with women's health :)
ActiveX Controls are software modules that are downloadable and executable. So you can click on a link and your browser tries to download a software module and run it. However browsers usually give you a warning about this software being downloaded into your computer, mainly because ActiveX Controls have access to your computer resources and files and can mess things up for you (if it's a malicious ActiveX Control). So if it's coming from a credible source, go ahead and download it but if it's coming from dinky websites, don't.

it's a file that is used by video players; usually a browser plugin and usually has a .OCX extension.
