Jude was the beatles nickname for Julian Lennon and at the time John Lennon was kinda moving on and falling in love with Yoko Ono, and Julian being a kid was afraid about his future with his dad .

Because the song should've been "Hey Jules" as his name was Julian, and in some horrible slip up, they sang it "Hey Jude." I mean come on!
