Haven't you made any plans for the future? If not, summer is the perfect time to start thinking about it. Are you going to work? What kind of work do you like to do? You could take summer courses, go to a technical school, or just do some investigation. Many local jobs should be posted in your library. Your school guidance counselor doesn't take the summer off and you can get some advice there. Or check out hotjobs.com to get an idea of what's available in your area. Life after high school can be wonderful or terrible. It depends on you.

well, first - congrats!
i graduated last year and went straight to college. it's not much fun, but if you dive right in, it's better than waiting...
you can also get a summer job or try balancing work/school part time.
remember to hang out with friends: you don't want to lose them just cuz you don't see them at school everyday anymore

It is horrible. Unless you are one of the few exceptions in this world. The fact that you haven't committed suicide by this point, however, should be a reason for celebration. Indeed, I suggest you celebrate heavily before that car crash or infectious strain of flesh eating bacteria or some other equally unfortunate calamity befalls you, which I assure you will most likely happen

You must continue your education. That way you are ready to start your career. Do not settle by taking a job and think you will eventually go to college. You need to start immediately. Otherwise "something will come up" and you might put off college. You can't lose getting an education.

It depends on what your plans are...are you going straight to work, taking some time off, or heading to college?
I went straight to college and then got my masters degree. I hated high school, but loved the independence of college and the choice of classes to take.

same as life during, only you aren't forced to sit and learn useless crap... unless you're going to college. in the other case, you're forced to get a job.. unless you're a lucky sob being able to mooch off others..

eh... more life is waiting for you. depending on what choices you make, your future could be good or bad. in any case, it should be tons of fun ^_~

In a word:

Better..

I truly feel sorry for anyone who believes that their best days are behind them. In most cases, those who feel that way are responsible for the reason they feel that way. In a few cases, unfortunate events have led to their misery. I wouldn't worry about the pseudo-Dr. House who answered you... those are statistically unlikely to happen (and result in fatality.)
